California continues to invest in the future of our manufacturing workforce.

The Employment Training Panel - ETP recently awarded $896,000 to support training for 200 workers at Bosch in Roseville. The investment will help these workers build specialized skills while supporting California’s leadership in semiconductor and electric vehicle technology.

“Through targeted investments in our innovation economy, California is empowering workers and employers to build the skills needed for in-demand careers in emerging technologies.” -Stewart Knox, Secretary of the California Labor & Workforce Development Agency

13 Projects. More Opportunities. Stronger Communities.

California is investing in the workforce needed to build its future.

Through the High Road Construction Careers (HRCC) program, new funding is increasing access to good-paying construction careers across the state.

In partnership with Caltrans HQ, these investments strengthen apprenticeship and training pathways that connect more Californians – including those facing barriers to employment – to family-sustaining careers in the construction trades.

This round of funding supports 13 projects statewide, helping grow the skilled workforce needed to deliver critical infrastructure projects that keep communities moving and connected.

Congratulations to the organizations leading this important work across California.

Additional funding will be awarded later this year. Learn more about HRCC and stay tuned for future funding opportunities. https://tinyurl.com/ytzaputm
