I’m deeply saddened by the passing of Ray Gaesser, a true Iowa agriculture leader and friend.

Ray dedicated his life to farming, conservation, and advocating for Iowa farmers. He understood that farming is more than a business — It’s a responsibility to care for the land, support our communities, and leave things better for the next generation.

I’m grateful for Ray’s friendship, his wisdom, and his lifetime of service to Iowa agriculture. His impact will be felt for generations to come.

Prayers for Elaine and the entire Gaesser family. May Ray rest in peace.
