Hello!

Not sure if many people know this, but I established Rush City Parade as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization last year. Meaning, any donation is a tax write off for you. Donations are welcomed, as many entities participating in the parade, get paid to do so. I also did this because I didn't feel comfortable "taking money" from people. Rush City Parade is a non-profit, with its own bank account completely separate from my own. I don't even personally bank at the bank it's set up with.

Thank you to everyone who came out tonight and supported the parade and having a nice meal. I truly appreciate it. Supporting the parade means bigger and better things for the parade. Not only paying entities to be in the parade, like marching band, clown groups, and Shriner band, but to also go toward purchasing a banner and getting costumed actors to walk along the route. Shout outs are in store: First to First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Rush City for allowing the dinner and fundraiser to be held here. To Dan Dahlberg for putting the location into motion. To Nakesha Lopez for her yummy fizztique drinks. Witchin' Kitchen for her gluten free sweet treats. East Central Auto Repair for their generous free oil change. Emily Griffith for volunteering her time yet again and helping me. Right Away Driving School for donating half off for drivers ed basket. Gerly P. Hebert for assisting in the kitchen and serving the delicious meal. Amy and her girls for cooking and serving. Tonight wouldn't have been possible without all of your help. And, Charles Hebert for always showing up for me and being my biggest supporter. Tonight was fun, I learned a lot for next year, and had a wonderful time seeing many familiar faces. ❤️
