As referenced from the City of Rupert - The Minidoka County Courthouse from the early 1900's. The jail was located on the second floor, notice the barred windows on the south side of the building. The sheriff's living quarters and judge's rooms were located in the center and north side of the second floor.

Beginning this week, State Highway 24 will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 21st Street to 300 South Road. All lanes will reopen in June after contractors have reconstructed SH-24.
