Our Bulldogs have been making great choices, and now their rewards need a fall refresh! 🍂🐾

First, a huge thank-you to everyone who supported our students last school year!

The Party Cart and Bulldog Bucks are important parts of our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) system. They help us recognize students for making positive choices and demonstrating what it means to be Respectful, Responsible, and Safe. Students can use the Bulldog Bucks they earn to select rewards from the Bulldog Depot.

Our updated Amazon Wish List includes only our highest-priority items. Every donation, big or small, helps us keep our students engaged, motivated, and excited about making positive choices!

When Principal Meldrum becomes an actual traffic cone, you know she means business! 😂🚧

Help us keep dismissal moving safely:

🚗 Close the gap and leave as little space as possible between vehicles.

⬆️ Pull all the way to the end of the lane, even if you see your student.

📵 Stay off your phone and watch for students, staff, and moving vehicles.

📍 Have a consistent meeting spot and make sure your student knows the plan.

💛 Be patient and kind to one another. Dismissal is busy, and a little courtesy goes a long way.

Curriculum Night is Almost Here!

Parents, guardians, and students are invited to meet teachers, visit classrooms, and learn more about our curriculum, course expectations, and the year ahead.

After a lifetime of service to Royal Oak Schools, we’re celebrating Michael Betman on his well-earned retirement.

As a beloved counselor at Royal Oak Middle School, Michael has guided, supported, and inspired generations of Bulldogs. This year, he was also recognized with the Terry Hood Lifetime Achievement Award from the Oakland Counseling Association, honoring his extraordinary impact on students and the counseling profession.

Thank you for your dedication, compassion, and countless lives changed along the way. Congratulations, Michael—you will be missed!
