Good evening, this is a traffic advisory for tomorrow morning: Curry Road, spanning from the traffic circle to Fayette Drive, will be closed between 10:40 am and 11:20 am due to a scheduled parade. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.

I fully support this statement regarding the proposed closure of the Schenectady VA Clinic in Rotterdam.

This clinic provides essential care to many of our local veterans, and closing it would create unnecessary barriers to the services they depend on.

Thank you to our Town Supervisor for sounding the alarm on this important issue. Our veterans deserve accessible, reliable care, and I stand with them in supporting efforts to keep this clinic open!

Congratulations to our retiring Chief Brown!

Congratulations to former Rotterdam Police Department Chief Michael Brown, in being named the new Undersheriff for Schenectady County, serving under Sheriff Dominic Dagostino. Former Undersheriff, James Barrett recently retired, and Michael Brown will be taking on the new role. We wish him the very best!

The Town of Rotterdam will be hosting a Walkout Ceremony for retiring Chief Michael Brown at the Rotterdam Police Station tomorrow, January 20th, at 3:00 PM.

All are invited to attend and wish Chief Brown a wonderful and well-deserved retirement!
