We’re back at it tonight for our monthly meeting! We're kicking things off early with some high-speed chow and even better camaraderie

The Details:

Early Bird: 1800 (6 PM) – Food by Blake925 Deli, cold drinks, and music.

Main Event: 1900 (7 PM) – monthly meeting. We have busy months ahead! Volunteers NEEDED!

Don't be the one hearing about it tomorrow. Show up, get some gear adrift sorted, and enjoy the camaraderie.

Sergeant Major Fatima Audu broke barriers in the U.S. Marine Corps by becoming one of the first women to serve as Sergeant Major of an infantry battalion.

She enlisted in July 2001, completing Recruit Training at MCRD Parris Island, Marine Combat Training at Camp Geiger, N.C., and Field Radio Operator Course in Twentynine Palms, CA. In 2002, she served as a Field Radio Operator with Headquarters Battalion Communication Company, 1st Marine Division, completing two Iraq deployments and earning promotions to Lance Corporal, Corporal, and Sergeant.

In 2005, she joined I MEF G6 as EKMS Manager, with another Iraq deployment. She later attended Officers Communications School in Quantico. Promoted to Gunnery Sergeant in 2013 at Wounded Warrior Regiment, she served at 7th Communications Battalion (Okinawa), as Inspector-Instructor First Sergeant for 3rd ANGLICO, and as Company First Sergeant for 1/1 Marines, deploying with 11th MEU (2021–2022).

In March 2022, she was promoted to Sergeant Major and assigned as Battalion Sergeant Major for 1st Battalion, 4th Marines.

She holds degrees from Central Texas College (Associate), Park University (BS Psychology), Liberty University (MS Counseling/Criminal Justice), and is a DSW candidate at USC.

Her awards include (1) Meritorious Service Medal, (6) Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, and (3) Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.

Her journey reflects dedication and leadership.
