The Roseville Veterans Memorial Hall has a large wall that faces Royer Park and we want to use the space to honor our veterans and share the Veterans Su***de Hotline. Placer County is partnering with Blue Line Arts to hire an artist to do the painting and we need to raise $25,000. We need your help!

Thank you for supporting our local veterans and bringing awareness to veteran su***de.

We CAN help the homeless! Partnerships are key. Today, we cut the ribbon for the Sun Rose Apartments in Roseville: 82 permanent supportive housing units for those who are on their journey out of homelessness.

This is the former Hampton Inn on Douglas Blvd. The project was paid for through state Homekey grant dollars and has services on site supported through Placer Health and Human Services.

Thanks to everyone at AMI Housing, HHS and the City of Roseville who got this project done.

I had the opportunity to tour the Riolo Vineyards Lift Station and get a behind-the-scenes look at an essential service most of us rarely think about—our sewer system.

It's one of those things that quietly works every day to keep our communities safe, healthy, and functioning smoothly. The tour was a great reminder of the infrastructure, technology, and dedicated employees working around the clock to make it all happen.

A big thank you to the Placer County team members who shared their expertise and the important work they do every day. We appreciate all that happens behind the scenes to keep our county running!

If you see smoke today north of Roseville, it's the CAL FIRE NEU Annual Fiddyment Training Burn. Conditions are being monitored and crews from throughout our region are participating.

🍩 Happy National Donut Day! 🍩

Today we're celebrating a sweet tradition and a local favorite! Since opening their doors in November 1996, Foothills Donuts has been serving smiles, one donut at a time.

National Donut Day has a special history—it was created by the The Salvation Army to honor the volunteers who served donuts to soldiers during World War I and to raise awareness for those in need.

So grab your favorite donut, share a smile, and celebrate a tradition that's been bringing people together for generations. ❤️🍩

Thank you for supporting Foothills Donuts for nearly 30 years!
