Roseville Parks, Recreation, & Events The City of Roseville Parks, Recreation & Libraries operates a variety of programs, services, and facilities for the community.

The Department currently maintains and operates three libraries, sixty-six developed parks, over 5,000 acres of open space, two golf courses, two community centers, three swimming pool facilities, the Maidu Museum & Historic Site, and seventeen Adventure Club Child Care facilities. Located in Placer County along the eastern edge of the Sacramento Valley at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, Roseville is a mere 16 miles from Sacramento, the state capital. Another amazing Trail-A-Bration is coming to an end! Thank you to everyone who joined us this summer and spent time walking, biking, running and rolling along Roseville’s 50+ miles of trails.

If you participated, stop by the Trail-A-Bration table at Fall Family Fest on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 2–5pm to pick up your prize.

Fall Family Fest is just a few weeks away! 🍂 Bring the whole family to Vernon Street Town Square on Saturday, September 19, from 2:00–5:00pm for a free afternoon of bounce houses, face painting, the Big Trucks Zone, live performances, picnic games, vendors, food trucks and more.

It starts with a swimsuit and a towel, but it can lead to so much more.

Operation Swim is celebrating 15 years of helping Roseville kids get in the water. Today, kids receive swimsuits and towels, while PRL scholarships help families access lessons and build important water safety skills.
