Class of 66 You will be missed 🙏🙏

Mary L. Wilson, of Edgar Springs, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at the age of 75.
She was born on July 9, 1948 in Waynesville, MO to the late William Arthur Black and Francis (Cooper) Black. On January 22, 1966 she married Stanley Wilson at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Rolla. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Mary loved reading, sewing, cooking, gardening and growing flowers. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
Mary will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes: her husband, Stanley Wilson of Edgar Springs, MO; three children, Dana Embrich and partner, Mike Light of St. Robert, MO, Lucretta Kinder and husband, Mark of Beulah, MO, and Dustin Wilson and wife, Ami of Edgar Springs, MO; one sister, Dawn Black of Nixa, MO; seven grandchildren, Brandi Embrich, Briann Embrich, Wesley Kinder and wife, Brittany, Aaron Kinder and wife, Destinee, Wyatt Wilson, Annika Wilson and Faith Morris; and nine great grandchildren, Kolten, Kyndal, Clayton, Kimrey, Kora, Charlee, Zoey, Ember and Blakelynn.
A funeral service for Mary L. Wilson will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Edgar Springs Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Three Rivers Hospice.

Donald Ryan Henry “Don”, of Vichy, MO, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the age of 72.
He was born on September 19, 1949 to William (Bill) and Madeline (Gilliam) Henry in St. Louis, MO. Don married Susan (Daniels) Henry on May 31, 1969 at Macedonia Baptist Church. Don and Susan were blessed with three children, Jason, Jeremy and Jordan and have four grandchildren, Griffin, Lauren, Eva and Eli. Don was an exceptional son, brother, husband, Dad and friend.
Don graduated from Rolla High School in 1968 where he played football and baseball. He met Susan in 1968 on a blind date and the two were inseparable for the next 53 years. Don was in the Army Reserves for 8 years after high school. Don was active in the Vichy Volunteer Fire Department, helped reclaim the Vichy Community Park and established a baseball and softball program for the youth in Vichy in the early 1980’s. Don was president of the Vichy Saddle Club and organized trail rides and gatherings for the members. Don helped coach his sons in baseball via the American Legion Post Rolla-270. The teams traveled the Midwest and advanced to regional playoff events on several occasions. Don, along with his family, attended church at Macedonia Baptist Church and was active in Sunday School and volunteer efforts. Don worked for American Family Insurance from 1980-1990 as an auto and personal property claims adjuster. Don also worked with Pilot Castastrophe Service as an adjuster and traveled the United States for years. Additionally, Don had the opportunity to work with his Dad (Bill) and his brother (Larry) at Independent Body Shop as he rounded out his career. Don retired in 2014 and enjoyed working on his personal vehicles, most notably his 1955 Chevy’s. Don was a friend to all and was a centered family man and pillar to his community.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Madeline Henry; a son, Jordan Henry; two brothers, William “Gary” Henry and James Patrick “Pat” Henry; and his mother-in-law, Bessie Maxine Jacobs.
Don will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: his wife, Susan Henry of Vichy, MO; two sons, Jason Henry, of Webster Groves, MO and Jeremy Henry and wife, Linsey of Lee’s Summit, MO; two brothers, John Henry and wife, Bonnie of Rogers, AR and Larry Henry and wife, Judy of Camdenton, MO; one sister, Linda Schweiss and husband, Ron of Rolla, MO; four grandchildren, Griffin Henry, Lauren Henry, Eva Henry and Eli Henry; and a brother-in-law, Steve Daniels.
A memorial service for Don Henry will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the children (Eva and Eli) of Jason to establish a college fund.

Judith (Null) Murphy, 73, of Columbia, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 5, at The Bluffs in Columbia. Judith was born on February 19, 1948, the oldest daughter of the late Paul and Mary Null, and was raised in Rolla, Missouri. After graduating from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, Judith worked as a reporter for both the Rolla Daily News and the Columbia Tribune. In addition to her writing career, Judith enjoyed many years as a preschool teacher, and she loved working with children. With her former husband, Bill Murphy, Judith had one son, Will. She moved to Jefferson City in 1993, where she enjoyed spending time with family and participating in the life of her church. Judith was known by all for her terrific sense of humor, and throughout her life she loved making people laugh. She will also be remembered for her deep love of family, her devotion to her friends, and her sweet and optimistic spirit.
Judith is survived by her son, Will Murphy, and two grandchildren, Gavin and Bailey, all of Paducah, KY; three sisters: Paula Richards of Columbia, MO, Beth Strawhun (Lee) of Cincinnati, OH, and Carolyn Perry (Doug Hunt) of Columbia, MO; and nieces and nephew Sara, David, Jessie, Emily, and Erin.
A private family service and burial will be held in Rolla, MO. The family appreciates memorial gifts directed to The Bluffs (3105 Bluff Creek Drive, Columbia, MO 65201, Attn: Finance), as thanks for their excellent care of Judith.
