📢 New Report on Children’s Mental Health in New New Jersey

If you haven’t yet, take a look at the Children’s Mental Health Services Mapping Report released by the NJ Health Care Quality Institute: https://njhcqi.info/cmhmreport

Commissioned by the NJ Department of Children and Families, this important report examines the current landscape of mental health services for children and youth across New Jersey—and outlines 17 recommendations to strengthen the system.

As the statewide collective of Care Management Organizations (CMOs), NJCMO is proud that New Jersey continues to be recognized as a national model. At the same time, we support efforts to make the system easier for families to navigate, improve access to care, strengthen coordination across services, address workforce challenges, and ensure youth with complex needs can connect to the support they deserve.

We hope this report sparks continued progress in building a stronger, more accessible mental health system for youth and families across NJ. NJCMO looks forward to partnering in these efforts and supporting meaningful improvements.

Caring Partners had an incredible day yesterday! We were proud to participate in the Sparta High School Mental Health Walk, and later in the evening, connect with the community at the Denville Township Schools Special Services Department’s Community Resource Fair.
It was a great day building connections with students, families, and fellow community organizations. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support and engage with our community in meaningful ways!

Last week, Caring Partners staff held Team Day, where they participated in engaging challenges that brought out their creativity, communication, and problem solving skills. From friendly competition to collaborative activities, everyone had the opportunity to connect, laugh, and strengthen relationships across departments.
Team Day was a reminder of just how powerful teamwork can be. The same collaboration and trust we built together that day are at the heart of the work we do every day, supporting youth, families, and communities with compassion and care.
