Our office hours will be strange tomorrow and we will be closed on Friday.

Tomorrow (Thursday, April 2, 2026) we will have a mandatory Wellness Retreat for all county employees from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
This means that our office will be opened from 8:15am to 10:55am and 3:05pm to 4:45pm

We will then be closed completely for Good Friday. Today is the day to take care of what you need to before the holiday Crawford County. We love you. Be blessed. The world can totally change in 3 days.

This message is mostly to the citizens of the City of Roberta. The 2025 tax bills that I allowed to be sent out had a big error on them.

You and I both know that the City does not receive garbage service from the county provider.

Unfortunately, the bills sent to those in the city had a garbage fee on them. Please deduct that fee from your payment.

I am terribly sorry for this error and had it corrected immediately. If you come into the office or call for your amount, the garbage fee is not included. We have had our tax program corrected.

Mortgage companies have been notified of this error so they should not include it in their payments.

If any mistakes do occur, and you are charged, we will refund this garbage fee immediately. Again, I apologize.

I also wanted to let you know that we have a new phone system. We are trying to answer as many calls as we can and also wait on customers. We used to have 2 phone lines and it was a struggle. Now we have as many lines as callers need. All 4 of us can be on the phone with a customer in front of us, and when we hang up, we have missed 5 or more calls. We aren’t ignoring your call, we are dancing as fast as we can, and we appreciate your understanding. Happy Tax Season everyone! We love y’all! Come see us!

To all the dear citizens of Crawford County - your tax bills are now available online and in the office. The bills are at the printer now and will be mailed soon. The due date will be February 23, 2026. I know many of you will want to pay the bill before the end of the year. You can do that now.

I want you all to know how sorry I am for the lateness of the bills. This has been a rough season, but we are looking ahead to the future. And ready to help you in any way. If we may be of assistance to you, please call the office at 478 836 3575.

We will be open today until 4:45 pm, and Monday and Tuesday next week from 8:15 am to 4:45 pm. We will be closed for the Christmas holidays Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

We wish everyone a blessed and Merry Christmas. Remember the reason for the season is the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
