1.

Mission:
Nature of the Organization Giving Veterans A Second Chances, Inc. (GVSC), (the “Organization”) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation organized August 5, 2016, for the purpose of providing vital programs and services to Military Veterans ex-felons/felony service members in order to support their transition to civilian life as well-adjusted citizens. Our mission of the organization is t

o carry out our Oath of Honor, Courage and Commitments.. To raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of Veterans and Civilians;
2. To help felony veteran’s aid and assist each other;
3. To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs and finally;
4. Create an opportunity for veterans/felons to experience the healing power of a helping hand. Through Housing, Job Training, Counseling and other non-profit assistance. PTSD is the #1 cause of veterans becoming felons and a reason for suicide among our vets. Helping these veterans will cut down on both these. We firmly believe that only a vet knows how and what helps other veterans. Vision:
Our vision is to foster the most successful and well-adjusted generation of veterans and ex-felons in our nation’s history. The courage to continue through honor and empowerment! VETERANS will not go from Hero to Zero in a split second. Comments posted to this page do not represent the official opinions of Giving Veterans A Second Chance (GVSC).

FYI EVERYONE!!!

I was at Wendy's recently, I heard a guy ask for his senior discount. The girl at the register apologized and charged him less. When I asked the man what the discount was, he told me that seniors over age 55 ...get 10% off everything on the menu, every day. (But you need to ASK for your discount.)

This incident prompted me to do some research, and I came across a list of restaurants, supermarkets, department stores, travel deals and other types of offers giving various discounts with different age requirements. I was actually surprised to see how many there are and how some of them start as young as 50.

This list may not only be useful for you, but also friends and family, too.

Dunkin Donuts gives FREE coffee to people over 55. If you're paying for a cup every day, you might want to start getting it FREE.

Mr. President your the one that has the power to undo this mess in the Military!! No one should be told if they Don't refer a case they won't get their next promotion!! And defense jag officers should not be telling soldier to perjure themselves to save themselves from rotting in a Military Prison!! You should get YOUR troops in order!! They never should be investigating cases when being told always believe the victim. Some of YOUR best troops are sitting in a prison all because a woman didn't want a divorce!! Not to mention how much of OUR tax dollars are going to compensate these women. You want to cut the budget cut this wasteful compensation out!! Give a direct order "NO CASES GO FORWARD WITHOUT EVIDENCE" !!! You sir are the President Of The United States give the order and get YOUR TROOPS in order!!

Finally someone who decided Soldiers should go to prison for years & years has been caught doing exactly what some Soldiers have done but he won't lose his career, benefits or retirement nor will he spend 1 day in jail yet he felt Soldiers should do years in prison for that same so called crime!!

"You found it Mr. Franken. You found the military’s s*xual assault epidemic. Perhaps your actions were meant to be humorous, but I invite you to read the RAND survey questions and all Articles that fall under 120 in the Uniform Code of Military Justice. (RAND ask the respondents whether or not they experienced any of a list of offenses from violent, forceful assault to attempted touching over clothes. Any affirmative response was counted as an assault without qualification i.e. which were attempts and which included force — a useful data point. The sampled results were then used to make an estimate of unqualified assaults within the military. The press took the estimates and reported them to be actual rapes - an epidemic was born) What you are accused of, Mr. Franken, is textbook s*xual assault under Article 120 of the UCMJ. Had you been a member of the military you would be facing a lengthy “victim centered” investigation followed by a general court martial, which, from the state of the evidence, would result in your conviction, loss of all benefits, confinement and registration as a s*x offender. An apology would not suffice. Those who have had their lives ruined by the draconian reactions to a bogus epidemic may call for you to step down, face the angry, misinformed activists that you pandered to, and fall on the sword that you sharpened." ~Mark Thompson of "SAVE"

What a shame we Americans don't care enough to make our government give Veterans the mental help they need & deserve!! When is our government & citizens going to DEMAND 100% health care of our VETERANS for LIFE. But yet we gladly pay politicians for life, the majority have never spent even 5 minutes on a battle field!! Our government is responsible for the mental illness these soldiers have and should take responsibility for it, but then again they have NO clue what being a soldier is. Good ole out of sight out of mind!!
