Walter Smittle III Regional Responder Training Center Located in Jackson County, WV & created to honor the late OES Director Walter Smittle III. This facility can be used for hosting classes and hands on training.

Smittle believed that education was the core of emergency response efforts. Our goal is to facilitate training & education to all responders in his memory. First responder training facility located at 201 Town View Rd., Ripley, WV. We also have a shooting range available that is located at the same site. To schedule your next training session, contact us at 304-372-2000 and ask for scheduling at our training center. A dedicated email to the center will be available to contact very soon.
