We are overwhelmed with gratitude for our win last night! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Ringwood! 💙

To everyone who voted, volunteered, shared a post, or believed in us — you made this possible. This campaign was fueled by passion, teamwork, and a shared commitment to doing what’s best for Ringwood’s children.

Dawn and Theresa knew they needed to run again because there’s still important work to finish; and now, with Dulce on the Board, bringing her experience, insight, and heart, we’re ready to keep that momentum going strong.

We are so proud of this community and grateful beyond words. But we’d be remiss not to acknowledge how ugly local elections have become. We have to ask— is this the new standard?

We believe local public service should never be measured by the damage it causes. The cost of those tactics — slandering neighbors, damaging local businesses, causing a child to be picked on and teased on the bus — is simply unacceptable and has no place in Ringwood. We reject the idea that public service must come at the cost of decency.

And for those still struggling with the basics: It's D-U-L-C-E—DULCE. Practice spelling it and saying it, because she's ready to make a difference!
We'll be sure to prioritize academic excellence (Goal #1) as we roll up our sleeves and get back to doing the work of the district.

The family that votes together wins together🙌🙌

Time to bring this across the finish line.

✅️Go vote!
✅️Give your neighbors a ride to the polls.
✅️Reach out to your friends and remind them to vote for Achieve More- Struck Savastano and Bueno.
✅️Be kind and patient in line at the polls.
✅️ Hug a candidate and their children- because this has been another (unnecessarily) wicked and cruel election season in Ringwood.

Don't forget to write in for Lakeland Board of Ed:

💢 Rosaleen Welsh
💢 Kathleen Wescott

Let's make Ringwood the shining beacon in the Woods we all know it can be. ⭐️

It’s disappointing — though not surprising — to see local Republicans attacking the Achieve More team and their families again. This time, they’re targeting Mark Savastano for his wife Dawn’s work as a Board of Education member.

We don’t do personal attacks. We stick to facts — and here’s the truth about the tax levy.

Former Board President Paul Rubacky, with years in the financial industry, left just before the district’s budget deficit came to light — a deficit created by years of overspending under his leadership.

When that crisis hit, Dawn Savastano and Theresa Struck made the responsible choice to vote yes on the tax levy — not for politics, but to protect Ringwood’s schools, teachers, and taxpayers.
Without it, we would have faced teacher layoffs, larger class sizes, a lower bond rating, and even the risk of a state takeover.

Moody’s later confirmed that the Board’s action preserved our district’s financial stability.

Strong leadership means taking responsibility, not creating problems and blaming others. Dawn and Theresa stood up for Ringwood’s students, staff, and community when it mattered most.

Ringwood voters- the results of this election boil down to this ️👇

💢What do we care about?
💢What do we believe and aspire to as a community?
💢What are our core convictions?

We are running for the Ringwood Board of Education because our children deserve more than politics and empty promises.

We believe in transparency, accountability, and vision.

We believe every decision should be made with students, families, and our community at the center.

We believe in academic excellence, fiscal responsibility, and long-term planning so that Ringwood thrives — not just today, but for years to come.

Staying informed is not optional. Your voice, your vote, and your involvement matter more than ever.

This is about more than one election.
This is about the future we build - together

Today is the last day for early voting.

One of the best parts of voting in local elections is seeing familiar names on the ballot — your friends, neighbors, and community members who truly care.

Today, Dulce and Theresa went together to vote in person at the PCCC Wanaque/Haskell campus. It’s emotional standing in that booth, realizing how much is riding on every single vote — and how powerful it feels to cast a ballot for someone you know will lead with integrity and heart.

For Dawn, voting is a family tradition. She brings her kids on election day so they can witness democracy in action and understand the importance of civic engagement from an early age.

🗳️ Make your plan to vote on or before November 4th — and if you still have your VBM ballot- remember to flip it over and vote Struck • Savastano • Bueno for Ringwood Board of Education! And Write-in Rosaleen Welsh and Kathleen Wescott for Lakeland BOE.

These moments help us recharge as we head into the final stretch, just 9 days left until Election Day!

Have you told at least one friend about the importance of the Board of Education election? Local elections matter — your voice and your vote shape our schools and our community’s future.
