Our President, Michael Chambers, had the opportunity to speak with Democratic nominee for Governor Keisha Lance Bottoms today!

Last night, a major storm struck Ringgold, resulting in flash flooding and 3–5 inches of rain. This is a time when we need our community. Homes were damaged, trees were downed, and some people are still without power.

The thing about our small county is this: we will always step up to help one another. I have already seen people across social media coming together and volunteering to help clean up Downtown Ringgold after businesses were damaged.

Please join us in praying for our beloved county as we navigate this difficult time. 💙

Thank you to YDG and Muscogee County Young Democrats for hosting this extraordinary convention. While it was stressful and exhausting—running from meeting to meeting—it was also a lot of fun. Let me tell you why: I was there to bring new ideas back to Catoosa County. I met with many chapter presidents from all across the state and listened. They pitched ideas and events for our small and new chapter, but best of all, we were treated as equals.

It was also so much fun to meet Rep. Akbar Ali (D-106) and Rep. Ruwa Romman (D-97). They were both amazing leaders, and I talked to them about the issues currently facing Catoosa County, including those involving our current state representative. I was pleased with their answers, and I look forward to talking to them again.

Thank you again.

I will post a statement/video of some sort tomorrow addressing the things I voted on in committees.

We are officially chartered with YDG! Thank you to the Executive Committee for their assistance and quickness to approve our chapter. (It only took 2 hours 🫣) Also, a huge thank you to for all the help!

We will have more information regarding meetings and other details later. Stay tuned!

Message us with any questions.
