📚💙 A Special Gift for Prevention Education

One of the families we have had the privilege of serving recently found a meaningful way to give back.

After seeing the impact prevention education can have on children, a parent created an Amazon Wish List of children's books to help support SARC's prevention efforts. These books will be used to teach important lessons about body safety, healthy boundaries, trusted adults, emotions, respect, and personal safety in age-appropriate ways.

We are incredibly grateful for this thoughtful gesture and for the opportunity to continue providing children with the tools and knowledge they need to stay safe and thrive.

If you'd like to help us build our prevention library, consider purchasing a book from the wish list. Every book will help us engage children in important conversations and support our prevention education programs throughout the community.

📚🎭 What a fun day at Bezos Academy Pasco!

Our Prevention Specialists, Denise and Katie, recently visited students with one of SARC's favorite educational tools - our puppet show! Through engaging stories, colorful characters, and plenty of interaction, students learned important lessons about body safety, boundaries, trusted adults, and speaking up when something doesn't feel right.

The students were wonderful participants and clearly enjoyed meeting our puppet friends. We love finding age-appropriate, engaging ways to help children build safety skills and confidence.

A big thank you to Bezos Academy Pasco for welcoming us and partnering with us to help create safer, stronger communities for children.

💙 Prevention starts with education, and it's never too early to learn about safety, respect, and healthy boundaries.
