MEET OUR ASSISTANT GOVERNOR – REGION 3, Wendy Maitland!

Wendy brings an impressive background in both real estate and psychotherapy to her Rotary service. She began her real estate career in 2002 and went on to become one of Manhattan’s leading luxury real estate brokers, representing major new developments and record-setting transactions. She later served as President of Sales for one of New York City’s fastest-growing real estate brokerages, managing more than 500 brokers and agents.

Today, through Atelier, Wendy works with clients throughout New York City and the Hudson Valley, specializing in residential, commercial, hospitality, and new development markets.

Beyond her professional career, Wendy has a strong passion for service and giving back. Her nonprofit work has included supporting communities through FXB International and helping raise awareness, funding, and volunteerism for environmental equity and housing following Hurricane Katrina.

Her commitment to service continues through Rotary. Wendy is a board member of the Rhinebeck Rotary Club, co-chair of its fundraising committee, and serves District 7210 as an Assistant Governor and member of the Membership Committee. She is also passionate about Rotary’s partnership with ShelterBox USA and the opportunity to make a difference locally and around the world.

Outside of Rotary and business, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, swimming, gardening, music, design, food, travel, and discovering new cultural experiences.

Rhinebeck Rotary’s 1st Annual Pickleball Tournament is coming to Rolin Fields Center on Wednesday, September 30!

Join us for women’s, men’s and mixed doubles from 9 am to 5 pm. Registration is $200 per team or $100 per individual, with breakfast and lunch included.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available from $100 to $350, with recognition at the tournament and on social media.
