The Douglas County Board of Commissioners, along with the staff at the Umpqua River Lighthouse and Coastal History Museum in Wi******er Bay are excited to announce that the local Artisan Gallery will now be open seven days a week. The local Artisan Gallery is located below the Douglas County Coastal History Museum in a beautifully renovated space that was once part of the original 1939 U.S. Coast Guard barracks. The gallery features local paintings, photography, pottery, sculptures, woodworking, jewelry, soaps, terrariums, and many other hand-made crafts perfect for one-of-a-kind gifts or for a perfect addition to your collection. The Artisan Gallery along with the Umpqua River Lighthouse, Coastal History Museum, Visitors Center, Café and Gift Shop, Whale Watching Station, and Artisan Gallery are located at 1020 Lighthouse Road in Wi******er Bay along the beautiful Oregon Coast. The Artisan Gallery is now open daily from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Call for Local Artisans! The gallery is still looking for local artisans interested in showcasing their art in the Artisan Gallery. The breathtaking beauty of the Umpqua River Lighthouse and Coastal History Museum nestled along the southern Oregon Coast provides a stunning backdrop for artwork to shine!
