Congratulations to our very own Adams Middle School in Redondo Beach! Honored to have participated in the evaluation process on behalf of Adams along with 15 other parents. So proud of our students, teachers, administrators, staff, parents, and everyone in our educational community!

Congratulations to the 77 high-performing California middle grades schools that have been recognized today by State Superintendent Tony Thurmond as 2023 California Schools to Watch! These high-performing model schools demonstrate academic excellence, social equity, and responsiveness to the needs of young adolescents.

I am honored to be running for RBUSD Board on a slate with Raymur Flinn RBUSD School Board. Raymur has served on the Board since 2019 and is the current Presiding Officer. She has worked tirelessly to support the families, students, and teachers of RBUSD during these most unprecedented few years. Raymur is a trusted leader and has over 12 years of experience holding multiple offices in PTA and School Site Council.

We are running together because we have shared values: to meet our students where they are and raise them up. We are a great team and we aren’t afraid to challenge each other to come up with better ideas and solutions.

I would be proud to serve on the Board with Raymur and the other current Board members.
