I am a lifelong resident of Vinton County and a 1989 graduate of Vinton County High School. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Rebecca Fout, for eighteen years and I am the loving father of four sons and two daughters. Over the years, I have owned and managed successful businesses in Vinton County and dedicated my time to non-profit organizations to improve the lives of Vinton County reside
nts. I am a member of the Vinton County Agricultural Society and have held the office of president for the past seven years. During my tenure, many improvements have been made at the Vinton County fairgrounds and financial stability has been achieved. Through my leadership, the Vinton County Jr. Fair has grown and become a wonderful event for the 4-H youth and residents of Vinton County. I am a trustee for Harrison Township in Vinton County and currently hold the office of President. I orchestrated a tax levy for road improvements in Harrison Township that was passed by the residents. Through the collaborated efforts of myself and fellow trustees, we have achieved financial stability, upgraded equipment, and improved road conditions. In the past, I have been a board member of the Southern Ohio Food Bank. I dedicated countless hours to the less fortunate residents of Vinton and surrounding counties. I have also received special recognition from the State of Ohio Senate and Attorney General for my civic commitment and assistance to the Bureau of Criminal Investigations. As a lifelong resident of Vinton County, I believe that our youth need to be involved in our community. I will strive to bring new programs and activities that will enhance the lives of Vinton County residents and its youth. I will work hard to bring new businesses and jobs to Vinton County. I will use my gift of negotiation and love for Vinton County to bring new growth and development. I would appreciate your vote, on November 8th, 2016, for Commissioner of Vinton County. If elected, I promise to give 100% of my efforts to the improvement of Vinton County. I will be a full-time Commissioner and be available at any time to address the needs and concerns of Vinton County residents. I promise to put the needs of my county before myself.
