Good morning families!

This is a rough one to post this early in the year but we need your help! Please keep
your child home if they are exhibiting signs of illness, especially if unknown in etiology.

We have all the things blowing through the building right now (Covid, Flu, tummy viruses, etc) and it’s taking down staff and students at a fast clip.

Don’t just medicate and send them hoping for the best….they always tell us.

Refer to WCPSS guidelines for health and safety and do your best to be sure you aren’t unwittingly exposing others to illness.

Thank you so much for your help! It takes a village to keep each other safe and healthy.

We are now accepting Interest Forms for Science Olympiad! Students in grades 3-5 who are interested in participating on this competitive, academic team should complete the form linked below with their parent/guardian before September 24th.

Our tournament this year is on Saturday, March 13th and will be held in Pittsboro, NC.

As of this morning, we have raised $34,088.14! We are so grateful for all of your hard work! Donations will still be accepted through Monday.

Once that is complete, a booster representative will deliver any remaining earned prizes for distribution. Also, parents of any student who earned a day pass should have received an email with instructions for redeeming it!

We are very excited about our inflatable race tomorrow.!!

Congratulations to Ms. Bryant, Ms. Teel, Mrs. Tatum, Mrs. Hocutt, Ms. Wilson, Mrs. Shaw, and Mrs. Taffe-Thompson for having 100% registration from their classes! These classes will decide between a popsicle or popcorn party to celebrate!

As a thank you to parents and students, to celebrate our fundraising goal being met and exceeded, we will be celebrating with the 2nd annual Staff/Student inflatable costume race! The following teachers will be escorted by top grade level earners as they make their way across the front field obstacle course……… in a blow up creature suit! lol.
