Today is an important day to discuss equal rights - on the 6-year anniversary of civil rights leader John Lewis' death. Lewis fought for equal rights for all Americans, no matter their gender, race, or religion.

As this administration attempts to suppress the voices of Black Americans and women across the South, it is more important than ever to honor Lewis' legacy by fighting to protect equal rights under the law.
