The Area 2 AACD Annual Meeting was held at the Little River Canyon Center in Fort Payne, AL. The meeting was a wonderful success, and we couldnโ€™t have done it without the support of our generous sponsors and caterers!

Dekalb County Soil & Water Conservation District hosted the Area 2 AACD Annual Meeting on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

The Dekalb County Soil & Water Conservation District held their annual AACD Essay Contest this spring. This year's topic was "Soil. Where it all begins." We received numerous well written essays but were only able to choose 3 winners in each division. Congratulations to these winners and schools!
