The Radnor Township Board of Trustees are pleased to announce that a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of significant improvements to the Radnor Community Park, located at 4230 State Route 203 in Radnor, Ohio 43066. The ceremony took place on the afternoon of Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the park entrance, just over seven months after the project broke ground on Monday, November 24, 2025.

This project consisted of removing both the north and south driveways and creating a safer, more centrally located driveway. The one and only existing parking lot was expanded and refurbished with new gravel, and three additional parking lots were created, adding nearly 45,000 square feet of parking. A two thousand feet walking path is the crowning glory of this project, which offers numerous benefits, including improved physical health, enhanced mental well-being (take a walk after work), social connections (walk with a friend), and enjoying nature. This entire project was funded by a $160,000 state grant.

The improvements were financed through an Ohio Department of Natural Resources grant, provided via the state bi-annual budget. The Radnor Township Board of Trustees extends sincere thanks to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, and to State Senator Andrew Brenner and State Representative Beth Lear, for their support in securing these vital funds.

We are very grateful to National Lime and Stone who donated over 3200 tons of stone and to Hensel Ready Mix who donated concrete for the project plus a huge thanks to MLS Construction who did the work.

A shoutout to the members of the Radnor Park Committee, which includes Bob and Sandy Fish, Mike and Diana Foreman, Alesha Houchard, Shelly Lehner, and the baseball coaches, Ryan Turay, Scott Morgan, John Turner, and Mark Meyer.

Special Meeting!
Please plan on attending a special meeting of the Radnor Township Trustees to discuss our Radnor Fire Department. Our levy will expire at the end of this year and some decisions need to be made. It will be held at the Radnor Community Room on Wednesday, June 24th at 6:30pm. The public is welcome to express their thoughts after the presentation.

It's here! The long awaited for Radnor Twp Cemetery Directory reading of the new sections of the cemetery; the Old Section is not a part of this directory for now. This was a great and rewarding project that your Radnor Heritage Society decided to take on about 3 years ago. Please note: this is still a work in progress and probably will be for several months if not years but you can help.

As you browse the Directory (it does have the ALT F search feature) and see anything that needs corrected (spelling, dates, military service) or was omitted please refer those to our email address: [email protected]. We will issue updates to the Directory in a timely manner.
