NOTICE: East Kingsford Water Customers

Fire Hydrant Flushing is Scheduled for Tuesday, June 16th and Wednesday, June 17th.

Customers may experience discoloration in the water. If you do, please run water for several minutes until the water clears. There may also be a slight drop in water pressure. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hydraulic Falls Road will be closed to all traffic beginning on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, until further notice, for guardrail upgrade and replacement. Closure will begin at We Energies Hydraulic Dam Road through to Menominee Street. (Previously graveled portion of the road)

Memorial Day Program

Honoring Our Heroes: Memorial Day Program in Quinnesec

Join us in solemn remembrance and heartfelt tribute at the Memorial Day Program on Monday, May 25th at 10:15 AM, held at the Quinnesec Cemetery.

This meaningful event is hosted by The Kingsford Carpenter Clash American Legion Post #363 and will feature stirring performances by the Kingsford High School Band and Choir. The program will be led by Master of Ceremonies Gary Chapman, with an invocation by the Kingsford Legion Chaplain. Guest speakers will also share words of reflection and remembrance in honor of those who gave their lives in service to our country.

Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to stand united in gratitude and reflection. Let us never forget the sacrifices made for our freedom.

Reminder Quinnesec residents!

Just a heads‑up that the water department will be doing hydrant flushing and chlorination on May 12 & 13, 2026.

This is routine maintenance. You might notice cloudy water, a chlorine smell, or lower pressure for a short time. It should clear up quickly.

🚛 Trash Pickup Schedule Change Begins May 18, 2026

Starting Monday, May 18th, 2026, weekly trash collection will move to a 4‑day schedule. Pickup will now take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday according to the updated color‑coded map.
