A teacher venture grant also sponsored The Habitudes leadership program at the middle school level this year!

This program has been such a great addition to the PRIDE work this year. It’s given students a common language to talk about leadership in a way that actually makes sense to students and feels relevant to their everyday experiences. Students have become more aware of their choices, how they impact others, and what it really looks like to lead in the small, everyday moments. Through our leadership program, students have grown in confidence, taken more ownership, and stepped into roles where they are naturally modeling PRIDE for others. A sincere thank you to the Solanco Education Foundation for providing the support that made this opportunity possible. Your generosity has allowed us to bring this valuable resource to our student leaders, whose growth and leadership positively impact the entire middle school community.

Another SEF Teacher Venture Grant Update:
Students at Bart-Colerain Elementary were excited to select their books for the Solanco READS summer program this June. The SEF grant was used to purchase new books for this summer's reading. Students were able to choose from new titles that featured some of their favorite book characters and topics.

Purchasing books for Mini Mules Academy is another fantstic use of a SEF teacher venture grant!

Even with tight funding, the program has done a great job stretching resources, reusing materials, & working
with the Solanco School District Early Learning team to keep everything running smoothly. The support received from the Solanco Education Foundation for purchasing books really makes a difference & directly impacts each child who
participates. Mini Mules Academy is a great example of a program that brings learning to life, builds connections & leaves a lasting impression on students of all ages!
