Wonder if CBSP could have some sort of Native Flute Festival similar to the one at Medicine Park ?
Perhaps combined with an Art Show
Maybe Native and Southwestern Artist ?

Let’s think about having a meeting of the Friend s Group after Spring Break and a name for the group

Copper breaks State Park has arranged for the loan of a couple of authentic
Native American type Tipi for demonstration and learning purposes ,from an area ranch

Come out and learn about this structure .
Hopefully Friends of the Park can raise money soon to purchase 2 or 3 for overnight Campers to enjoy
A good book on this subject is
“ The Indian Tipi” by Reginald and Gladys Laubin
And Tipis Teepes. By Linda Holly

I would love to see the Park have. an active friends group again .
Perhaps even have lectures interpretative programs speakers artists guest lectures
Make it a hub of the community and
Surrounding area
It is YOUR park make it special
