As founder of Project 253 and Tuff Love Intervention, he has dedicated his life to helping young people build positive and sustainable futures. Rooted in faith, family, and his Polynesian heritage, Vince leads with compassion, service, and heart — making him the perfect MC for this special night.

Our guest speaker, Dr. John “Push” Gaines, is a former at-risk foster youth turned nationally recognized speaker, educator, best-selling author, and founder of PUSH For Dreams. Named one of Yahoo News’ “Top 10 Most Influential People of 2020,” Dr. Gaines inspires audiences across the country with his powerful story of resilience, perseverance, and hope. His message of pushing through adversity and believing in your potential has transformed countless lives.

The Jewish community has faced bigotry, hatred, and violence throughout history. Right now, Jewish Americans are experiencing the highest levels of harm in nearly 50 years. Today, the Council proclaimed May as Jewish American Heritage Month to recognize the adversity Jewish Americans continue to endure, to celebrate the contributions they have made to our nation, and to encourage all to call out anti-Jewish harm wherever it appears in our communities.

This extreme, hateful & antisemitic candidate being propped up by House Republican leadership has no place in our politics. This kind of rhetoric from any candidate is dangerous and disqualifying - and instead of trying to help this person, House Republicans must immediately condemn these hateful statements.
