Community Safety Reminder

As we enter the first weekend of June, warmer weather is bringing more people outdoors to enjoy recreation and water activities.

The Pueblo County Coroner’s Office would like to remind our community to make safety a priority. If you plan to participate in boating, fishing, paddleboarding, swimming, or other water-related activities, please wear a properly fitted life jacket.

We also encourage everyone to avoid alcohol while swimming or participating in water activities, as alcohol can impair judgment, coordination, and reaction time.

Have a safe and enjoyable summer, Pueblo! 😎
