On 03/13/2026 At 12:08 hours, the Pringle Fire Department was dispatched to a residential structure fire on Hoyt Street in Pringle. Upon arrival, crews observed active fire and smoke coming from the structure. Due to limited manpower, a second and third alarm were called as crews worked to extinguish a persistent fire within the walls of the structure. We extend our gratitude to all mutual aid departments that responded to assist us with this incident.

At 15:07 hours, the Pringle Fire Department was dispatched to the rear of Grove Street to respond to an unattended burn barrel. Upon arrival, crews discovered a barrel filled with burnt cardboard and extinguished the remaining fire.

At 10:26 hours, the Pringle Fire Department was dispatched to Courtright Street in Pringle in response to an iPhone crash detection alert. Upon arrival, Engine 171-2 found no evidence of an accident, and all units cleared the scene and returned to service.

At 21:24 hours, the Pringle Fire Department was dispatched to a possible residential structure fire on Perrin and Avenue C in Swoyersville. Upon arrival, engine 379 found a wood burner operating inside a garage. All units were then cleared and returned to service.

At 18:45 hours, the Pringle Fire Department was dispatched to Courtright Street for a residential fire alarm. Upon arrival, 171-2 crews investigated and determined the alarm was caused by a faulty detector. Engine 171-2 then cleared and returned to service.

At 08:57 hours, the Pringle Fire Department was dispatched to Luzerne Towers in Luzerne Borough for a commercial fire alarm. Upon arrival, Chief 157 determined the alarm was caused by a cooking incident. All units were then cleared and returned to service.
