The Calvert Soil Conservation District (SCD) in partnership with USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will be hosting a public Local Work Group Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to prioritize local natural resource concerns to set funding priorities for federal Fiscal Year 2021 Farm Bill Programs, which offer financial assistance for the installation of conservation practices. Discussion will include a review of current priorities and prioritizing local natural resource concerns for 2021 in Calvert County and Statewide. The meeting will be broadcast via Microsoft Teams on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 6pm from the Harriet E. Brown Community Center, Room #113.
