The Housing Authority of the City of Prichard, Alabama (HACP) came into being under the provisions of the Housing Authorities Act No. 56, approved February 8, 1935 and Act No. 148, approved March 17, 1939, now termed the Code of Alabama of 1940.

Empowering Our Future Leaders!

The Housing Authority of the City of Prichard (HACP) proudly hosted an impactful ACT Prep Workshop for our student residents and community youth, led by the outstanding Dr. Wycondia West, CEO of West Instructional Services.

This dynamic program provided students with valuable instruction and strategies in English, Math, and Science, while also equipping them with the confidence and test-taking skills needed to excel on exam day.

At HACP, we remain committed to investing in educational opportunities that prepare our youth for college, careers, and lifelong success. We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. West for sharing her expertise and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

Leadership Starts with Vision

Under the leadership of our CEO, Kimberly Levingston, the leadership team at the Housing Authority of the City of Prichard (HACP) recently participated in a personal vision board Teambuilding project.

This collaborative exercise encouraged each team leader to reflect on their individual, professional, and life goals while creating a visual representation of their aspirations and future success. The activity provided meaningful insight into who we are today and who we are striving to become as leaders.

By sharing our visions, we strengthened our commitment to personal growth, professional excellence, and servant leadership. The experience reinforced the importance of intentional planning, accountability, and supporting one another as we work toward achieving our goals.

At HACP, we believe strong leadership begins with a clear vision. When leaders grow, organizations thrive, and communities benefit.
