Heads up! Here are the upcoming closure dates for YC's Center for Learning and Innovation on both Prescott and Verde Valley campuses:

Monday, May 25 – Memorial Day: Both CLI-P and CLI-V will be closed
Tuesday, May 26 – CLI-V will be closed for scheduled maintenance
✅ CLI-V services will resume Wednesday, May 27

Starting May 18, the CLI on the Prescott and Verde Valley campuses will be open Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and closed on Fridays.
📚 Library Services and Tutoring Services remain free and available to all YC students, including:
✅ Study Rooms
✅ Laptop & Hotspot Checkouts
✅ Culture Passes
✅ Academic Coaching
✅ Tutor Zoom Sessions

May 5th (Cinco de Mayo) commemorates the Battle of Puebla, when Mexican forces achieved victory over the French Empire in 1862. While it is a major holiday in the State of Puebla, Mexico, here in the United States, it’s become a joyful celebration of Mexican culture and heritage—filled with music, dancing, and, of course, delicious Mexican cuisine.
