Adult Speaker Series
Back in January, the Ogemaw District Library applied for a grant from the Molina Company. This grant was designed for our older population (55 and older), we designed this program to have a presenter who will speak on topics pertaining to our older population. After the speaker, we will provide lunch and after lunch there will be a craft or games with prizes.
A few weeks ago, we received an email informing us that we received our grant request. We have been busy getting all the pieces in place to make this a wonderful event for our audience. We still have one or two speakers to secure, but we need to get this information into your hands so you can start registering for our June events. All events take place on Mondays, at the Skidway Lake Branch, 2196 Greenwood Rd. Prescott. This event is free for those who attend (but you must be at least fifty-five to register). But we need you to register, and not just show up, we have planned for an audience of twenty.
Please open the attachment, to see the topics that will be offered. Fill out the registration form, (attached) and get it back to the library by either dropping it off at one of the branches or by emailing it back to the library at [email protected] Please feel free to share this information with friends and family who meet the age requirements.
