Our Director of Victim Services secured more than $5,000 worth of free, in-person training for our victim advocates this week. Thank you, Ms. Vigdorov, for your unwavering commitment to excellence and professional development at the Cobb Solicitor General’s Office.

When I first took office four years ago, none of our victim advocates held specialized certifications to serve survivors of domestic violence. Today, our team is trained, certified, and better equipped than ever to provide compassionate support, resources, and advocacy for those navigating some of life’s most difficult circumstances.

Investing in our people means better outcomes for the survivors and families we serve.

The Cobb Solicitor General’s Office was honored to host renowned domestic violence expert Dr. Campbell today. We are incredibly grateful that she traveled from Washington, D.C., to train our victim advocates and reinforce the life-changing impact of this work.

Reducing violence and improving outcomes for survivors requires well-trained professionals, strong community partnerships, and leaders committed to action. Dr. Campbell’s energy was inspiring, and her insights left us with innovative ideas to better serve our community.

We are excited to put those ideas into practice as we continue working to make Cobb County safer and stronger for everyone.
