The Post Falls Senior Center is looking to hire for an assistant cook position. This is a full time morning position Mondays through Fridays with some weekends required. We have a small staff so everyone does everything, cooking, prep, dishwasher,normal kitchen cleaning, etc. We are one of the largest producers of meals for Meals on Wheels in Kootenai County, we serve lunch Monday, Wednesday, Friday to seniors who come to lunch, as well as cater a variety of events. We cook mostly from scratch so you must be able to work with and without a recipe as we don't always use one. You must be reliable, able to communicate , ability to work well with volunteers and seniors, work well under stress and manage several different tasks. Please email resumes or drop off in person (Tuesdays and Thursdays preferred 8am-11am) (1215 E. 3rd Ave. Post Falls, ID 83854) ask for Chef Nick I will schedule interviews shortly as we are looking to hire as soon as possible. If I am unavailable just leave resume with front office. Kitchen experience/culinary school is preferred but we will train the right person for this position.
