Thank you to everyone who helped out with the Free Comic Book Day program on Saturday! It was blast!

We welcomed all manner of nerds, geeks, and fans of every age to come celebrate Free Comic Book Day at the Mid-County Regional Library on May 4th! We designed light-sabers and trained under a Jedi Master, made lots of fun superhero and Pokemon crafts, played trivia, learned how to draw comics, watched local artists create dazzling works of art, and met many of our favorite comic book characters along the way. The library was teeming with animal ears, capes, and masks of all colors and sizes! What a super duper day!

Sharing is Caring

TRAM (Teens Reading And Meeting) was created for young adults by the staff at the Mid-County Regional Library in Port Charlotte, FL, to bolster a love for all things books, knowledge, and libraries. It's a community of teens that offers activities, entertainment, helpful advice when needed, and information concerning any and all teen issues. It’s a place for fellowship and fun grounded in a love for literature and learning as well as a springboard for bright young minds to find their passions, cultivate their beliefs, and discover ways they can change the world! Here, there is no judgment and no censorship. We welcome all to join us under the mantle of knowledge and books and create a community of forward-thinking individuals ready to share in the riches found in libraries and give back to a world starving for change. Let us take the future by the proverbial horns and hold on tight! Here we go!
