We are excited to announce that we have took delivery of our brand new Ambulance. This ambulance will serve our department and community at the Paramedic level. To be able to serve our community at a Paramedic level and do that with volunteer members in today’s time is not only rare, but shows the dedication our members have for our community.
I would like to thank Asst Medical Chief Clint Hinson for directing this project and seeing It through to the end. He sacrificed so much of his free time to do this for us.

If anyone living in our community would like to become a member please reach out to Chief Josh Bowers or any member of the department or come to the meeting on the first Monday of every month at 7pm. We would be thrilled to meet you.

The roads are terrible. Please help the First Responders that have to be out in this weather stay safe by staying home. If there is snow in your yard it’s the same everywhere. Yall stay warm and safe!!

This past Sunday Hyatt Farms Shooting Complex hosted our Fire Department Christmas party. It was beautiful as always and the food was amazing. Thank you!!

This is a video from one of our members when we responded to a tree down call yesterday during the storm. If you see a down line, please call It in and do not get near It. This line is over 14,000 volts and It turned the ground to glass.

We have some excited news to share. Please help me congratulate our newest EMT, Lorri Burns Bennett. Like mother like daughter. Her mom, Mrs. Martha Burns, is a retired member and was also an EMT. We at Burnsville Fire Rescue and Ambulance Service would like to congratulate you on your success and also the dedication you took to prepare yourself to better help our community.
From the Chief: Lorri I was honored to be able to help teach your class but also to watch you grow in the class. I got to watch the doubts gradually go away and replaced with confidence. I know you will do well in this new adventure. Just remember: We are always learning. 810
