Join us for our Craft and Laugh Connections Group on Monday 7/6 at 6:00 pm. The Restorative Center hosts Craft and Laugh the first Monday of the month. Various crafting supplies are provided, or bring your own work in progress.

For our fifth Monday Connections Group this coming Monday June 29th, we are taking a field trip to Edson Fichter Nature Area! Lisa Jorgenson will be guiding us on a mindfulness walk to lower stress levels and help improve our moods. We'll meet at the gate with geese on it next to the parking lot at the usual time: 6pm.

Restorative Art Monday at 6pm.
We'll be doing a butterfly project, working with paper, paints, markers and glue to take us through a transformative experience. This is a practice of overcoming and transcending. Just as the butterfly starts out as a caterpillar that has to go through a rigorous metamorphosis in order to fly, each of us go through changes that transform us in ways we never expected. This is a project of reflection, growth and moving forward.

We want to thank everyone who participated in Yoga for Survivors this year! We were able to get enough donations to buy bolsters and blankets for our trauma-centered yoga class. This will help us create support, safety, and containment for our bodies as we teach them to rest.
