Transparency and a more detailed and thorough open discussion on issues concerning the city are at the forefront of what some others and I are trying to achieve. As we head into the 2026-2027 budget cycle, please ask questions. Whether that be in the form of an e-mail, a phone call, or message to a councilmember, mayor, or city staff, it doesn’t matter.
I have full confidence in Bradley Chambers.
The attached video is a start. A lot of these meetings get missed and I understand not everyone can attend or watch the meeting later. This video is a primer for everyone as we head into this next budget phase and contemplate long-term capital projects. Ask questions.
If possible, attend the budget meetings and workshops. Utilize the Citizen’s Comments period of the meeting to voice your opinions, whether they be negative or positive. It does have an impact.
Attitudes like: “Nothing will change” or “You can’t get rid of the good old boy system” are part of the past.
If you want change and transparency, then get on board because I am here to tell you:
It is coming.
