First, I want to thank Councilmember Parker for bringing attention to the appointments that were assigned for the newly created Disabilities Commission. This information was included in the agenda released yesterday, September 9, 2026. I do not support the manner in which this was handled, and I believe future appointments should be conducted using the process in which we’ve always used which allows for transparency and is done in the best interest of our community.

This will be the first time Dallas County Passport office offers a remote location outside of Dallas.

This is huge! Im so grateful for Honorable Felecia Pitre for talking my call and idea to bring Dallas county to the Best Southwest.
