What a great weekend at Pleasant Hill Town and Country Art League! 🧶✨

Our members enjoyed a special needle felting workshop led by Hollie Nowaczyk, learning how to transform soft wool into unique handmade creations.

Just one of the many perks of being part of the art league—creative workshops, learning, and community.

Quick reminder for all our amazing artists 🎨

Artwork from the youth art show was scheduled for pickup on Saturday, and we still have several pieces waiting to be claimed. If your child submitted artwork, please make plans to come pick it up as soon as possible.

We’ve loved having your creativity fill the space, but it’s time for these pieces to head back home 💛💜

What an amazing week celebrating the talent of our young artists at the CCass County Public Library - Pleasant Hill Branch! 🎨✨

Our very first Youth Art Show was a huge success, and it truly wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support behind the scenes. A heartfelt THANK YOU to the library staff, our dedicated art league volunteers, generous donors, the high school art teachers, and all of the families who showed up, supported, and made this event happen — our community really showed up in the best way. 💜💛

We are so proud of every student who participated and shared their creativity. Congratulations to all of our 2026 Youth Art Show winners:

✨ March Program Highlight ✨

Although we’re now in April, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on one of the highlights from our March program!

We had the joy of welcoming award-winning American artist Marsha Holt to our March meeting, where she shared her incredible talent in polymer clay sculpting.

Marsha creates stunning, life-like 3D wildlife sculptures, beginning with a wire armature and carefully building each piece using a variety of clays and specialized dental tools. Her attention to detail brings each animal to life in such a remarkable way.

What makes her work even more inspiring is her creative process—Marsha often works from memory, driven by her deep passion for wildlife and sculpture. And true to her artistic spirit, her studio is wherever she happens to be!

A heartfelt thank you to Marsha for sharing her time, talent, and passion with us. We’re grateful for the inspiration and creativity she brought to our group! 🐾🎨
