Cass County Democrats Planting seeds and growing the Good Life for all in Cass County, Nebraska! 🌱💙🫏 The chapter is governed by its constitution and bylaws.

Cass County Democrats represents the county chapter of the Nebraska Democratic Party. The board is made up of the Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary which are elected by registered Democrats in Cass County every four years at the County Convention.

​We are committed to the platform and ideals of the Democratic Party and work to advance its candidates, policies, and initiatives in our com

munities. Registered independents and enlightened republicans are welcome to view or participate in our county party events. Registered independents are able and encouraged to vote for Democratic candidates in primary elections. Cass County is in Nebraska Legislative District 2 and Nebraska's 1st Congressional District.

The Cass County Democrats were invited to send a representative to attend the Cass County Election Commission’s pre-election Logic & Accuracy Testing and Mock Election used to test the ballot counting machines. The Cass County Republican Party was also extended the invitation and sent a representative.

Our amazing Secretary/Treasurer Wendy was in attendance during the process this morning, 5/6/26 at 9am.

Everything went smoothly, and I would like to thank Geri Draper, our Cass County Clerk, and the Cass County Election Commission staff for their dedication to transparency and democracy!

We are so very grateful for all that they do, and we are grateful for the work of the very dedicated poll workers who will be in our communities from 8am to 8pm on Primary Election Day, Tuesday May 12!

Remember…your VOTE is your VOICE! Use it or lose it!
