1. Donate to North Country Women United – we recruit, train, and support Democratic women running for local and state office in Clinton, Essex, and Clinton Counties. 2. Volunteer on campaigns – help candidates with petitions. Don’t want to go door to door? Drive someone who will. Host or attend a house party. Help with fundraising by working on mail campaigns. Invite your friends to get involved. Learn how to be a campaign treasurer. March in a parade. There are dozens of ways you can help.
3. Speak up! Many people are going to feel empowered to bully others. Be an advocate. Ask someone being confronted for directions or anything that will disrupt negative behavior.
4. Public outreach – volunteer to table at public events to help with voter registration or write a Letter to the Editor.
5. RUN FOR OFFICE – we need you!!! We’ll show you how!!!

For his week's , we're recognizing Clinton County Treasurer Kimberly Davis!

Kimberly was recently awarded the NYS County Treasurers and Finance Officers Association 2024 President's Award during NYSAC Finance School!

Kimberly was first elected as Clinton County Treasurer in 2014, is a graduate of the NYSAC County Government Institute, and has been an active member of the Kiwanis Club for over 20 years, continually working to improve the lives of children in her community.

Congratulations and thank you for your service to Clinton County and your community!

In case you missed it, here's my Letter to the Editor from Friday supporting Amy Asadourian Senecal for Clinton County Family Court Judge:
TO THE EDITOR: When voters consider the two candidates for Clinton County Family Court judge, experience in family law is of the utmost importance.

Only one candidate has decades of experience in this specialized field, Amy Asadourian Senecal. Amy practiced family law when she first became an attorney and continued to do so for nine years. Her dedication and knowledge was recognized when she was asked to be the judge’s court attorney for Clinton County Family Court and served our community in that role for 18 years. She was then appointed the support magistrate for Clinton County Family Court in 2019 and has served in that position ever since.

A career dedicated to family law isn’t just a tag line for Amy’s campaign, it is the essence of who she is. She is a person of the highest ethical character and we would be fortunate to have her serve the children and families in our county as the next Clinton County Family Court judge.

You can't ask for a better person to serve the children in our communities than Amy Asadourian Senecal. Her entire career has been in Family Law and she is THE best choice for Clinton County Family Court Judge!
