Hope Restored Missions is committed to restoring hope to the poor, especially the homeless community, through ongoing supportive relationships that provide advocacy, guidance, and resource connections so that our less fortunate neighbors can overcome barriers and reach their full life-sustaining potential. The HRM Support Center provides assistance with ID procurement; housing; employment; emergency food, clothing, and transportation, and so much more!

320 MEALS. HUNDREDS OF ESSENTIAL ITEMS. COUNTLESS MOMENTS OF DIGNITY RESTORED.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN COMPASSION GETS TO WORK!
On Saturday, October 17th, 2026, Hope Restored Missions in Plano, Texas, transformed another Outreach Saturday into a day of meaningful service, practical resources, and renewed hope for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and financial hardship.
THE IMPACT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!
Our preliminary outreach records reflect:
• 320 meals distributed, providing nourishment to our neighbors through Charitable Foundation
• 21 haircuts through Klipper over Comb and
• Approximately 232 clothing items distributed, helping individuals and families meet essential needs.
• 97 essential items distributed through the McGee Foundation, including toilet paper, belts, and fruit.
• 14 children’s items distributed through our Kids’ Table.
• 73 eyeglass service entries recorded through VOLT.
• 8 individuals received blood pressure screenings, supporting community health and wellness through Hearts for the Homeless.
• 22 facial services provided, offering moments of personal care and dignity through Mary Kay.
That’s approximately 684 meals and essential items distributed, in addition to vision assistance, health screenings, and personal care services!
But here’s what those numbers cannot tell you.
They cannot measure the relief of receiving a meal when you’re hungry.
They cannot capture the confidence restored through a fresh haircut or a new pair of shoes.
They cannot describe the comfort of knowing someone cares enough to ask, “What do you need today?”
THAT IS THE HEART OF OUTREACH SATURDAY.

From ages 4 to 104, when generations come together to serve the least of these, we witness something extraordinary: humanity at its very best! So what does that look like?
It looks like children learning the value of compassion alongside their parents. It looks like grandparents sharing their wisdom, friends serving shoulder to shoulder, and families choosing to spend their time making life better for someone else.
It looks like Gateway Church Plano showing up with 50 volunteers for Hope Restored Missions!
Earlier this summer, a simple conversation led to a visit from Gateway Church Plano’s pastoral leadership. What began as an opportunity to learn about our mission became a beautiful partnership rooted in faith, compassion, and service.
Today, as part of their annual October Service Day, 50 volunteers came together across generations to serve a mission greater than themselves. And what a beautiful reminder of what humanity can be!
At Hope Restored Missions, we believe that serving the least of these is not simply an act of charity. It is an expression of love, dignity, compassion, and our shared responsibility to one another.
There is something truly remarkable about watching people of different ages, backgrounds, and experiences come together with one purpose: to make sure someone else feels seen, valued, and supported.
This is what community looks like. This is what love in action looks like. This is what restoring hope looks like.
To our friends at Gateway Church Plano, thank you for reminding us that changing the world does not always require extraordinary resources. Sometimes, it simply requires ordinary people willing to do extraordinary things together.
Because when we teach our children to serve, we raise a generation that understands compassion. When families serve together, we strengthen our communities. And when humanity comes together for the greater good, we make this world a better place for everyone.

HOUSED! AFTER MORE THAN 15 YEARS WITHOUT A PLACE TO CALL HOME, THIS FAMILY FINALLY HAS ONE!
For more than 15 years, this family experienced homelessness. Serious health challenges, systemic barriers, and difficulties obtaining critical identification documents made securing stable housing seem nearly impossible.
But at Hope Restored Missions, we believe that barriers should never determine someone’s future.
Through the determination, investigative skills, and collaboration of two dedicated case managers and an identification services representative, our team went beyond traditional case management. By utilizing Ancestry.com, vital statistics records, and extensive research, they successfully located and secured the critical documents needed to move this family toward housing placement.
Fifteen years of homelessness. Countless obstacles. One life-changing breakthrough.
This is what happens when compassion meets persistence, advocacy meets action, and case management goes beyond paperwork to change lives.
At Hope Restored Missions in Plano, Texas, we do more than provide immediate assistance. We help individuals and families experiencing homelessness overcome systemic barriers, access essential resources, secure stable housing, and rebuild their futures.
Because housing is more than a roof over someone’s head. It is dignity, stability, security, and the opportunity to begin again.

On Friday, this United States veteran received something that represents far more than access to a home.
HE RECEIVED HIS KEYS!
And behind that smile is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
For veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability, securing a place to call home can mean renewed stability, restored dignity, and an opportunity to move forward with confidence.
At Hope Restored Missions in Plano, Texas, we believe the men and women who have served our country deserve more than our gratitude. They deserve access to resources, meaningful support, and opportunities to rebuild their lives.
Through our Veteran Services and Bridge to Hope programs, we work alongside veterans to address housing barriers, connect them with critical resources, and support their journey toward long-term stability and self-sustainability.

On Tuesday, we captured this beautiful smile and a moment filled with possibility. On that day, we received the incredible news that this gentleman is officially HOUSED and has already moved into his new home!

A NIGHT OF CELEBRATION, PURPOSE, AND WELL-DESERVED RECOGNITION!
Saturday night was nothing short of extraordinary as we celebrated our Founder and CEO, Dr. Tamara Monroe, who was honored with the prestigious Difference Maker Award at the Dominique CARES Sneaker Ball in Plano, Texas!
And what a night it was!
From the incredible energy and beautiful connections to the laughter, celebration, and unforgettable moments, the evening reminded us that when purpose meets passion, lives are transformed!
Dr. Monroe’s leadership is more than a title. It is a calling rooted in compassion, service, and an unwavering commitment to restoring dignity, creating opportunities, and bringing hope to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and economic hardship across North Texas.
Through Hope Restored Missions, her vision continues to open doors, remove barriers, strengthen communities, and create pathways toward employment, stable housing, and lasting self-sustainability.
But here’s what makes this recognition so meaningful: Dr. Monroe doesn’t lead from the sidelines. She leads with her heart, her hands, and an unshakable belief that EVERY person deserves an opportunity to thrive!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dominique Cares for recognizing leaders who are making a measurable difference in our communities and for hosting such an incredible evening of celebration and connection.

Today, the Hope Restored Missions family celebrates someone truly special, Richard “Rich” Holmer!

As our longtime volunteer and Director of Finance, Rich has given far more than his time and expertise. He has shared his heart, his wisdom, his generosity, and his unwavering commitment to serving others.

From helping steward our organization’s resources to faithfully supporting our mission, Rich has demonstrated what servant leadership looks like in action.

Some people volunteer their time. Others leave a lasting imprint on the lives they touch. Rich has done both!
