Police Memorial Day is Tomorrow May 15,2026. This year the names of 363 officer killed in the line of duty will be added to the wall. This includes 109 officers killed in 2025 and 254 from previous years. There will now be 24,775 names on the wall. The coverings we wear on our badges honor their memory and their sacrifice for our nation our communities and those they served.

This week officers from around the nation and the world converged on Washington DC to pay respect to the fallen.

To our brothers and sisters in blue and all those families who have lost a loved one we pray for your peace and honor your sacrifice.

Thank you to Labella Bean Coffee Co on Washington Ave for hosting the first Coffee With The Chief. Mayor Copeland ( photographer) Senator Devlin Robinson, Councilman Nick Cieseleski (pictured) were in attendance. I would like to thank those community stakeholders for talking with us to voice community related concerns.

The next event will be posted at a later time and will most likely be in the evening at the Borough Building to allow for those who work during the day to participate .

Looking forward to hearing from as many people as possible so your police department can work with you to address concerns within our community.
