Stepping into the role of Executive Director at Mary's Place feels less like starting a new job and more like answering a call that is deeply written on my heart. I am passionate about ministry, community, and making a real, lasting impact. I believe with my whole heart that every woman who walks through the doors of Mary's Place deserves to be met with dignity, hope, and a community that truly believes in her future.

Yesterday, we celebrated a friend’s feast day, St. Monica. She prayed for her son, Augustine, for years and years. He became a friend of Jesus, too. Today, we celebrate his feast day.

At Mary’s Place, we want to say thank you to the women who pray and support our moms and babies. Thank you to the ladies who prayed the rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet yesterday. See you for the next rosary day on September 8, when the Church celebrates Mary’s birthday!

Tomorrow, August 22, the Church celebrates the Queenship of Mother Mary! At our princess party this past month, we asked guests to write prayer requests for the intercession of Queen Mary.

Shhh... Queen Mary has an in with her son Jesus, King of the Universe.

We are all heirs to the Kingdom of God! Fellow heirs to the Kingdom, write your prayer requests here.

Yesterday, I witnessed something beautiful.

As the new Executive Director of Mary's Place, I had the honor of joining a group of women praying in our chapel, beautiful prayers for our moms and babies. What a peaceful, sacred time it was.

I learned something too: our Rosary Walk isn't really a "walk" anymore — it's become a time of prayer together in our chapel. And honestly? There's something so fitting about that stillness in this space.

Join us every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 1:15pm for the Rosary “Walk” at Mary's Place. Come pray the rosary with us for the moms and babies who call this place home. 💕
