Hope Ignites Pittsburgh We serve children between the ages of 10-18 who are at risk due to poverty, neglect or harmful neighborhood conditions.

Hope Ignites Pittsburgh's (formerly Boys Hope Girls Hope) Mission is to nurture and guide motivated young people in need to become well-educated, career-ready men and women for others. Hope Ignites Pittsburgh (formerly Boys Hope Girls Hope) provides a well-balanced, nurturing home and quality education through college for academically capable girls and boys. We give children a foundation for success by addressing their basic needs and providing enriching opportunities that build confidence and self-esteem. Our focus on academic achievement through college creates a strong foundation that builds a future of hope and opportunity for our scholars.

It’s Not Too Late to Register!

Our Annual Golf Outing is on Monday, September 14th. We are excited for a day of community out on the course while we raise funds for our scholars.

We have a fun day planned with games including Hit It to Win It, Putting Contests, and a special Hole-In-One in partnership with Henne Jewelers where the winner will receive a $10,000 store credit.

Our Annual Golf Outing is coming up soon! On September 14th, we will spend a day with our community to raise funds for our scholars and share more about our mission while having fun out on the course.

Henne Jewelers has offered a prize for the day of. If you manage to get a special hole-in-one, you could get a $10,000 store credit. A huge thank you to Henne Jewelers for making this possible. We look forward to seeing everyone out on the course!

Hope Ignites is the catalyst that empowers youth to reach their full potential. Through our voluntary, application-based program, we support motivated young people from middle school through career launch. We meet them where they are—offering after-school programs, holistic support, and, when needed, a safe place to live. By connecting youth to opportunities for economic and social mobility, Hope Ignites changes long-term trajectories.

At out annual Golf Outing, we come together for a day full of golf and support for our scholars. We would love for you to join us, playing individually or as a foursome, for a fun day while we raise funds to support our scholars.

It’s officially time for our scholars to head back to school! After a very eventful summer full of trips and new adventures, we are excited to see how they will take on the new school year. Above you can see Zion, Sky and Gihanna on their first day back!

As school ramps back up, we are more dedicated than ever to helping our scholars be successful. We love spending time with our community, sharing more about Hope Ignites and our mission. As we have expanded, we have added more of our Evenings of Hope, allowing us to get together in one place, talk about our mission, and look forward to the change we can all make together. If you are interested in learning more about what we do, we have another Evening of Hope coming up on August 19th. We will have speakers who can share more about our organization, our impact, and our plans for the future!
