It was a meaningful evening at this year’s Advancing the Impact event at the PNC Home Plate Club. We were honored to gather with Leadership Donors: Million Dollar Roundtable, Tocqueville Society, Bridges Society and Women United members, to celebrate the many ways United Way strengthens our community beyond funding.

The evening highlighted United Way’s role as a connector, covenor and catalyst for change across our nonprofit network, while also beginning the countdown to our 100th anniversary in 2027. Thank you to our sponsors, the Pittsburgh Pirates, UPMC and UPMC Health Plan, for helping make this special event possible.

We’re proud to partner with agencies that help our communities meet basic needs and prosper. Today we’re highlighting Northern Area Multi-Service Center (NAMS), which supports older adults and adults with disabilities through specialized transit, healthy aging centers and community-based services that promote independence and self-sufficiency.

Their programs include nutritious lunches, educational opportunities, health and wellness activities and more. Thank you to NAMS and all of our partner agencies for making a positive difference across our community.
